Having spent nearly a decade in the corporate world, I’m no stranger to multi-tasking, driving to deadlines or moving targets. I’m organized to a fault. A planner at heart. And a big picture thinker.
I pride myself on being able to put aside my personal style and perceptions to empathetically embody your brand’s voice. (Or help you create what it is, if you need that too.) I’m a student of Improv, so I know what it takes to listen intently. How to build and grow and idea. How to support the story. And how to consistently stay in character to surprise and delight an audience. And in my branding work, it’s no different.
I offer you more than 10 years of copywriting and creative experience. I’ve written for many brands and agencies. My experience is diverse. It spans industries. It crosses channels. I have had the great fortune of working on some truly inspiring projects while building amazing consumer relationships for many brands, big and small. I believe in the power of working together to create a whole that is greater than the sum of its parts.

PERSONAL MATTERS
Outside of being a bad ass, business-owning, brand writer, I’m also a wife and mom. So I’m going through all the things that your consumers are. I buy the products. I cook the food. I make the appointments. I (try to) keep it all together. (And I have an awesome husband and partner to share this load with along the way.)
Just like you, I am challenged every day as a parent to raise kind and creative, strong and independent young people. Being a mom to biracial girls adds even more complexity and amazingness to our day-to-days. These little ladies and their curls have opened me up to whole new worlds and product categories. I love learning how to work with and style their amazing and beautiful heads of hair.
My family helps give me new and different perspectives. They help make me incredibly empathetic. They constantly keep me on my toes. They totally fill my cup.
FUN FACTS
• I’ve ran several half marathons and have even completed a full marathon. (I’ve got the 26.2 magnet for my car to prove it!)
• My husband and I are college sweethearts. #PolarBearNation
• I take improv classes. (Yes, and you can too!)
